On the shore of Lake Superior Near Munising Michigan. It is part of the Pictured Rocks National Shoreline. Only one of many rock formations. To ideally see the whole shoreline is by boat.
I am so glad that the horizon is not level, If it was I would have never noticed the curvature of the earth. this is really what caught my eye first. I love the turquoise blue water and the limestone shoreline it looks exactly like sand. I like the way the trees are framing the shot. This is beautiful. thank you for sharing
Well, I have to listen to Imua above me...in Hawaii where he lives, he gets to see beautiful water like this all the time, and if he enjoys it, I'll take it just on his recommendation and the validation of my own looksee...great colors!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Straighten the horizon and what happens to Miners Castle? I was up on a lookout about 100 yards looking down. Could that have something to do with it? Take a picture of a building straight on from 100yds and it will look like it is falling backwards.
