Just happened to catch this photo one evening while on a stroll. I wish I could have captured the sound of the whipporwills (sp) too.

If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect, then why practice?
Could use a bit of Sharpen, Janice. There is also quite a bit of lighter toned detail (grasses) surrounding the pond that would add some separation in all that darkened tree area.

I like this shot, it almost looks like a B&W until you see the blue in the sky. I also like that you capture a thin coat of ice in the water. Nice work.
