Crazy! I was on a field trip in London with my photography class and I wanted to capture something spectacular. To achieve this I had to run across to the centre island of the road, mind you this was at rush hour at night. Set up my tripod and zoomed in on the Chicago sign. I set the shutter on 'Bulb', and when I opened the shutter I zoomed out very slowly, allowing the light moment effect across the photograph that I have created! Enjoy

Very nice technique. Very moody and almost desolate landscape. You captured it ver well.

Hi Jack,
I too used that technique to create an unusual effect but it didn't came out that spectacular (probably chose the wrong subject).
I like how you got the word 'CHICAGO' sharp two times.

Thanks for sharing your amazing view.

Hi Jack, thanks for sharing. A very creative shot overall. I think the choice to convert to B/W was correct, as it may have been too busy in colour. I wonder if you selectively chose to leave some colour (e.g. on Chicago sign and the tail light streaks) if that would look good as well. The image also seems a bit "dirty" with light specks and haze, especially on the upper left corner; not sure if those could be eliminated somehow. Just suggestions though. Very cool overall. Herman
