Parts of this photo look more like Impressionist painting and that confuses me! Light is good, that's true, and it makes for a pleasing Autumn picture, but Photo? I am not sure...

Thanks everyone, I love the stained-glass feeling of this one.
@anawhisp: Because I want anything I post on Caedes to really be functional as a desktop, I try to make sure that the edges are uncluttered - that's where I, at least, put my icons. In this case I used Photoshop's "cutout" filter to simply the image and then darkened and warmed the resulting image. I then placed the original image on top, and faded it out toward the edges. So - maybe it's not exactly a photo anymore. It's a desktop.
