Great action stop Philip! Great depth of field. The dark sky and green land make a very nice backdrop. There is a slight amount of noise that could easily be toned down with Neat Image. Great work panning for this shot:-)

i always wonder how can one catch a bird in flight and yet make a fantastic image! well, i guess i'm too clumsy to do that :) the bird would probably fly away the moment i got my camera ready :))) i have a lot to learn ;o)
the seagull is beautiful, you really made a masterpiece here! and the background fits perfectly! no doubt, into my favourites.. 10/10 for sure! thank you for posting it, that is a magnificent image.
