Nice, David. You chose a great title for this one! The colour balance looks good, I think it's better than the one before. I like the reflection of the water and how it forms a "V" shape sideways. Nice job, and I'm looking forward to more of your shots!

Very nice composition. You really have an eye for framing these up. Unfortunately, this image seems to suffer from motin-blur. It looks amazing at preview size, but suffers when pulled up large. Also, you have a hot pixel (the green zit on the log). They can get annoying, but are easy to fix in post processing. Watch out for that next time you post. Again, excellent subject and excellent portrayal. One more thing to think about: this image directs the eye from right to left, but we read left to right. If you flip it horizontally, it might seem even more natural and peaceful. Flipping images works wonders in ways none of us can explain, but it does look fine just the way it is. Keep posting! :-)

I agree that is a very nice composition. Really like the subject and title. I look at this fallen tree and imagine when it was alive and flourishing. Nice capture!

It's not the years in our life that matter, but the life in our years.

Nice job David. Very similar looking colors gives a major advantage to this shot. And nice reflections too.
