wow, what a strange animal! where did you take this ?
the shot is very professional looking. very clear.
a great view with a great light and great colors^^
definitely well done Pierre!^^
They are beautiful aren't they? Although I can't imagine how they could use those horns in amy practical way... Pierr, did you take this at a zoo or on one of your overseas expeditions you seem to take so frequently?
Etosha park - Namibia. It's a very large park (23000 km2 = 2/3 of Belgium).
When you enter the park, you must accept the rules: -1) Never come out of the truck, except if you are inside a camping -2) Never come out the camping without the truck...
Then, animals are free and tourists are prisoners... ;-)
Out of the camping they distributed water points where animals come to drink. The animals understood that tourists are noisy, malodorous, but innocuous. Therefore they dare to approach to ± 50 m
Between them and us there was only a simple gate...
That reminds me of something I saw on TV once, these people were in a lion safari park and their car engine caught fire... their choice: stay in the car and be fried, or get out and be eaten :-o
Fortunately the park rangers came in time to save them...
