Another test with the superb landscape named 'THE CANYONS !' of Jacked. -1) rotate to put the horizon line to the horizontal -2) Image -> Adjust -> Brightness/contrast: +10% Bright & + 10% contrast -3) Image -> Adjust -> Color balance -> midtone: decrease the red, increase the green and yellow -4) see below. All credit to this photo goes to Jacked, of course :-)

Excellent Pierre! Maybe it is just me but the horizon still looks a bit lopsided... maybe it is just the natural contours of the land throwing me off.

It would also help to up the contrast slightly, bring up the blues in Image -> Adjustments -> Color Balance, and adding blacks to most colors in Selective Colors. This would bring out the colors in the image, making it look a lot nicer.

With the selection's tools, I selected the entire sky -> Filter -> Blur: to decrease the grainy of the sky
Then, -> Select -> Inverse: now all the picture is selected, but not the sky. -> Filter -> Sharpen: to give more detail
