Well another winner Pierre!! The solitude portrayed here..and the bright blue sky behind that dazzling white...it is just breathtaking! How fortunate you are to visit all these places! I love how sharp all your photos are! I have never forgotten my birthplace in Germany..nor the time I lived in England..even when we docked by ship in LeHavre...and visiting Netherlands..its all so good there..thank you for your constant beautiful photos!
But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.
Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.
This is one of the first few images I downloaded not that long ago, when I was not a member. Then, and now, I love this image.
It is a beautiful reminder to me of those days past, when we had a 'snow' day declared and the day off from school as a result of the snowfall. Branches fully covered and strangely, bright blue skies and wonderful light.
However, that does not detract from this being a great image on it's own. I really like the 'framing' you have achieved with the branches. In other words, very good composition, lol. Nice detail and clarity. Great work.
Hmm, I think I may have to spend some time in your galleries asa tribute to having lured me onto this site, lol. Look forward to it. Thank you for sharing and ... for a chance to reminisce :) .
Fab-u-lous lighting and shadows on this winter scene Pierre. We get lots of snow in Northern Ontario Canada also, but this is really beautiful. I can't believe I said beautiful, lol, I hate snow with all the shoveling I have to do.
