nice crisp shot Pierre that makes for quite a tranquil desktop image.

Very cool, and also very scary! I'm afraid of heights.

I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.

It’s a fabulous shot, I like the layered lighting on the hills as well as the aviator. How did you get up there?

Hehe! I was hung below my delta wing. Not easy to control and take a photograph at the same time...
Hahaha! Not at all!. I was on the start area with my 200 mm lens. That gives the feeling to be in flight... :-))
Thanks for the kind words!

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

I thought you had taken on the liking of your avatar;-) Great job reaching out with that lens Pierre. Really feels like I'm in mid air.

The closest kite is perfectly positioned in the photo and with respect to the horizon. Even standing on solid ground, not an easy shot to take.

A most wonderful shot Pierre. Im happy you were not in midair somehow when you took this photo. Its much safer on the ground shooting upward with that camera..hehe.Of course this is a very exciting photo...as are all of yours...in one way or another..

Don't know how I missed this one as it's a dream of mine to learn. The light caught beautifully as he lifted toward the sun for you. Thanks for this one.
