Maybe you'll not believe me, but I NEVER do alpine ski. All alpine photos here were taken during some treks with snow shoes. I think you'll ever find more beautiful and virgin landscapes with snow shoes... Thanks :-)

Hmmm. OK, now I've seen them both and I can't make up my mind which one I like better. After reading your response 3 responses above I can imagine what it must be like, but must admit I've never been on snowshoes, it really must be a magical experience.

No roads there!!! We can reach these mountains with snow shoes only, after 5 hours and 3000 feet of climb. Thanks Russ :-)

I love the shadows and the crevices that the viewers eye can see in the mountains. Everything looks like it came off of a Christmas card Pierre.
