Pierre, your luck in location is surpassed only by your ability to capture the beauty around you. The crisp blue sky is my favorite part, it almost makes me shiver. Great shot.
I am so pleased you went back in time to find this old photo and decided to share it with us. Brilliant winter capture of the snowy mountains. I love the colour palette of white, blue and black. I am looking forward to my holidays in the mountain at the end of February. Hoping I will be able to capture some breathtaking views...
Maybe you'll not believe me, but I NEVER do alpine ski. All alpine photos here were taken during some treks with snow shoes. I think you'll ever find more beautiful and virgin landscapes with snow shoes... Thanks :-)
Hi friend...glad I got notification of this one...your alpine photos are unsurpassed in peace, purity, and beauty...thanks for sharing the experience with us so superbly.:Pat.
Hmmm. OK, now I've seen them both and I can't make up my mind which one I like better. After reading your response 3 responses above I can imagine what it must be like, but must admit I've never been on snowshoes, it really must be a magical experience.

THIS is my favorite of the two....its absolute magnificient Pierre! You went trekking out in snowshoes for these photos? Oh my...dont you slip and slide too much!! Well its a most wonderful photo...
I love the shadows and the crevices that the viewers eye can see in the mountains. Everything looks like it came off of a Christmas card Pierre. It is hard for me to imagine that humans can trek this high above and see this type of beauty. Thanks you for sharing this beauty with us. Deeply appreciated my friend. ;=)
