Welcome to the world of HDR Gill! This is a nice shot, and I love the way you've caught the brake lights of vehicles in front. You got some interest in that sky too, it's a nice shade of blue. I've used HDR a few times myself and have to be honest that I wasn't sure the results were really to my taste, but it does tend to be very popular on this site. You didn't go over the top with this and it's an interesting presentation, gets something of the essence of the building.

A bit unreal. If I'd seen the unmodified image I'd feel better commenting on it. I'd seen the Alamo in Texas done like this so it can work out well. I need to get a better grip on HDR.

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, road construction without end. AMEN.

Very cool, and yes I too would like to see the original.

I agree with the others before me. HDR makes the photo look unreal. The light on the wall looks as though it comes from a big roaring fire :) It will be good to show the original for a comparison.

I'll get the original up as a comparison..I know it's quite trippy but I like the effect..gives a different take on a stereotypical image of a castle! :-p
