'Tis the season..

It's.. a fractal.

And, apparently.. I made it in Apophysis 7x.15c.

The border works like a verge between being on the plane or falling off into oblivion. The colors are excellent and the composition is very interesting. A long overdue visit and post. Both are most pleasing.

This has almost a stain glass appearance with the black contrast, the color part looks like symmetrical Indian brocade patchwork. The composition is very good and the overall appearance is very pleasing.

Great fractal, must have taken a lot of work. If the Great Pumpkin kept artwork on his walls, this would be one!

Hmm:) A Fractal you say! And made in Apophysis 7x.15c. I understand. Now we know what it is and by what means it was made but it beg's the question-why?? That is the question now isn't it? Let me take a stab at it. Is it for the pleasure of creating, sharing, enjoyment and wonder.....and maybe to brighten up our day and bring a smile as we scrutinize the intricacies and form and colors of this marvelous render.Does that explain why?:):) Perfectly suited for the season Les.....and my eyes:)!!!

I am.. willing to accept.. your answer to the question; 'why?'.

:oP

Thank you. Bruce.

A rather eloquent and succinct explanation as to the question 'why do we create?'.

Loved it.. and.. spot on. :o)

A fractal! Somewhere between a Tiffany Lamp and a rug that I would never walk on except in bare feet, so as not to mar its extraordinary beauty.

What the what??

We will have to have a DNA sample to ensure that you are the real twinkel.

Or..

We could try.. this.

Yep.. it's her.

Thanks, Twinkel. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts. :o)

Amazing that the sensation when one views this, is that it is not flat, that you can almost feel the slight curves. First time I have viewed a work of art that creates the feeling of the sun and the warmth. Favorite.
