Hi Dean: welcome to Caedes. This is a real nice shot. I TRY to get shots of these little critters but they're so fast and don't present themselves for long periods of time.
All I have to say is it gets a high score from me and goes on one of my computers desktops for a week.

Hi Dean. What a great post! The colors of this butterfly are magnificent. The white flower it is drinking from accenuates the white on it's wings and adds even more drama to this image. I am not sure either but whatever it is sure is beautiful...great capture of this one...the colors are like the shades in a rainbow...what a pretty little thing...great clarity in this image as well...nice detail to be seen...lovely work.

Is this for real? Dear God, it looks like someone intentionally hand painted this creature...oh yes, but of course-God. And YOU captured it perfectly. This goes in my butterfly collection and gets high marks.
