A word of caution though - It is not good to directly point the camera to sun unless a protective gear is used for the lens.... It can damage the sensors...

I love the soft colors - I would have guessed Africa if you had not mentioned India - just beautiful.

I bet it was beautiful watching the sun rise. The composition is a wee bit awkward here with the sun (although positioned on the left) in the center and the trees almost perfectly perpendicular to the sun. Hope you get the chance to shoot some more of these!
