Owl nest about 20' high in a palm tree, about 1/2 hour before sunset in S Arizona. There's actually 2 little ones in the nest but they'll probably be leaving in a week or so. The father stays in another tree about 50 yds away during the day.

It certainly begs the question that you posed, and since I am the next to follow the taste tester to the King's comment, ummm..well..I'm still waiting for the singer to come on stage...yah...that's it.. :)

What a wonderful pair. It's unusual for me to see them nexting in a palm tree, but then we don't have palm trees here, but we do have owls. Nice find.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Amazing to see them in a Palm tree. What a wonderful sight and a great post. Very well done. Thanks.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
