In Tucson today! From where the driveway meets the street, looking between houses to the Catalina Mtns and Finger Rock. Almost end of 'monsoon' summer rainy season so the ocotillo will start to lose their leaves (close up of ocotillo flower in gallery). Notice the blooming barrel cactus in the foreground?

That's one thing I really miss about AZ is the skies. They're absolutely divine, and especially when the sunsets. This is another treat, and thanks for sending it and the other elements in the photo to us. Great job of composing this shot as well !!! :)

"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso

Such a beautiful sky. No mistaking this image as one from the SW. I hear it was around 110 degrees there just the other day . Nice composition of some really interesting vegetation. Maybe I'll get to that part of the country one day. Never been west of PA yet though. lol

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

What a great mixture of "natural" colors - blue, green, white and grey. Very well done with a great concept too!
