While going to cut down a Christmas tree last year, the sky was a terrific array of colors, and when the oportunity came up to take a picture, the moon was out, and the sun was setting just behind the trees, and this was the result of it all. Hope you enjoy, feedback welcome.

Beauty is out there, you just aren't looking hard enough.

What a place to go treehunting! For us, the hunt goes no farther than the nearest flower shop, but that might give a good picture too. I like your picture; good composition and the white border adds something to the X-mas romantic idea. Thanks for sharing!

The framing makes this picture look like one is looking out through a frosted winter window on to this scene. This is a good effect. However, my personal preference is for photo scenes that look more natural. I respectfully say that the framing ruins the natural amazing moment you have caught with your camera. The moon, the colours of the sky, and the tree line with its dusting of snow make for a memorable view. I'd have loved to have seen the unadulterated original.

It's better to have a living dog, than a dead lion.
