You should check the autofocus function of the camera. The pic is not sharp.

The photo is blurry, bad perspective, very little interest for me.

Try a lower perspective.
The consensus is that this is a much more complimentary angle when photographing pets and children, for example.
You could also try using the self-timer on your camera to work towards that of eliminating any motion blur. As your four-legged friend here looked content enough to sit for a bit?
Maybe entice with a treat or two ... then, snap!
