Well, I hope they are, as it looks as if they've been supporting each other for a very long time. I hope the one on the left is not dying. We have a lot of pines that get this look and then are seen no more, but it's hard for me to tell what kind of a tree it is.

This must be a larch tree or hackmatack. These are the words I found for it in english. I have one of these trees in my garden. It is a strange tree, it looks like conifer, but behaves like deciduous trees. It changes colour in autumn and drops itīs "leaves" in winter. A very beautiful photo!
