'Love' is a large topic. When I see the very different images in this contest, I feel sorry for the judges :-D

thx pierre! about the colors-- everyone has been uploading works with reds, pinks, etc, b/c those are traditional love colors. i wanted to throw inthe other side of love, that's darker, with blues. of course there are the normal colors up in the top there, which is where she is facing. i wanted it to look like those warmer colors were SHINING down, while the blues and purples were RAINING down.

I think you did a very good job on this one reddawg. I do like the placement of the colors and the colors used. You can look at this in a few different ways - in its form or meaning of love. One reason why I like this one. I would have preferred her face to be clearer. I like that the words are not clear though. You just have the impression that the poem is about love. Overall - great job! Very well thought out.

Its not something I would put on my desktop (because I'm more into the abstract thing), but I really like the image. I usually hate oranges and yellows, but they added an amazing effect with the blue - it perfect

this... it's as if she holding a secret... I jus love this picture. Thanks for putting it on this site... it's like everything I've ever felt was just put on paper (or in pixels, or w/e it is that I see on my moniter). The colors for all the times that I've laughed and felt alive... the dark blue for the secret warmth that made me comfortable in his presence... like the pain that I still feel when I remember that we {were} no longer are a couple. But the colors... once again catch my attention as my pain is pushed aside by the laughter that we shared {and will always share}.
