Second edit in this series... something about the roses made me think of old, classic movies in B&W, so... it's not completely original, but it's sort of a different take on things. And there is something about the brick wall that I like as well.

This is very nice Bob. I love the contrast you have created between the brick wall and the roses. They do remind you of old b/w movies. I agree with Mary, any chance of your posting the the original? There is such great light/shadow.

This is a pretty picture, I liked the strange colored roses against the brick wall.

I saw that brick wall and thought, "Oh what a cool desktop this will be"...and then there are the wierd colored roses. It doesn't work for me. I'll drag this through photo shop and change the roses to a more realistic color. But, the idea for the composition ( roses against the pretty brick wall) is a great idea. The composition is clear, sharp, full of texture and color. I like everything about it...except the purple roses have got to go.
