I love the dramatic feeling here !!!! THe dark at the bottom of the cloud and then getting lighter and yet you can almost feel the rolling thunder within it!! When I do canvas paintings, I am always searching for the cloud "feeling" I hope you will allow me to use this cloud sometime in a painting. This is just fantastic! Yet there is a touche of blue....just lovely!!

I like it. The big fluffy clouds with the dark bottom, and the dark sky promising rain sooner or later.
Gotta love them storms...love it even more when you can capture and image of it before it starts like this one.

Lovely capture of the contrast between the white clouds and the really dark blue, high altitude skies that us sea-level dwellers never get to see, with the black layer of cloud telling the story of weather to come. Nice work :-)

Very impressive shot!
One question: the top part of the background sky: was it as dark as it shows on the picture or did you alter it?

I could say it has a purety from the white clouds, I could say the shades increase the feeling of "size", I could say it remindes the true love of nature in doing something no less then spectacular....let me just say it is a great photo, a beautiful sky and a wonderful feeling of well-being. Congratulations!

The contrast of the cloud against the sky is very effective and I like the gradient of colour in the sky. Nice work.

I've been to New Mexico, and yea the clouds can get really wierd out there. This is a pretty nice example you got here. I like how you got the white puffiness with the ominous dark at the bottom. well done.

I used to live in New Mexico and I agree with the clouds...but it is beautiful.....and this shot also makes me want to paint. So dramatic and soft.

This is a classic but beautiful thunderhead, majestic in it's stature, soft in it's texture and plentiful in it's texture. Goes to ya, need a photo? Look up!
