In the very early days when I first joined caedes I posted a pic of real wallpaper too...I remember one member, I think it was Tracy Wynn (&camerahound), who thought it was a novel idea...while everyone else was trying to produce fancy pc wallpaper I simply posted a pic of the real thing...anyhow, this image of yours is very intricate and fascinating to study...lots of figures and faces can be seen in here if you look at it awhile...and it does have the look of French influence.
