The Mississippi River at low tide was shrouded in fog on this morning, when the mist obscured the ships and navigational aids that would ordinarily clutter this view. I shot this back in 2001 with my pocket camera set to automatic. Later when I looked at it I thought I'd better keep it in case I ever figured out what to do with it. I think I just did.

Glad to catch this in the VB...very high scores from me!! I love B&W images...I think they only add to the atmosphere of the shot, and yours does just that...eerie and stunning! Great job!! Definitely a favorite.
