This pond sits in the park where my wife and I like to take our evening walks. Right now a pair of mute swans are wintering there awaiting spring when we will lose them to the northern climates. Knowing this is coming I decided to keep what I could of this beautiful couple, so when they leave I will still be able to see them.

Beautifully elegant shot my friend! Such a sharp photo. And here again, the colours and the ripples make the photo more wonderful. The swans. They come North? to us? Or where I wonder. We are having massive Snow Geese overhead right now. They sound so wonderful. It's good to see your photos. I've neglected a lot of things here but am trying now and then to show up..take good care my friend..Verena
