My first idea was that it would be good for B&W challenge. On second thoughts then... The rust looks better in colour.

I would say gas...Some of the couplings are characteristic with gas-related installations, and much of it looks like it is originally black iron or steel piping, both of which are prone to discoloration and rust when exposed to the elements...Nice post...Faved...
