The next time it will be pigs I promise. Just a bit of background, this photo is part of an assigment "photograph your neighbourhood". The problem is, I live in an area which can be loosely described as "suburban residential", which in photographic terms is the same as saying "dead boring". So well this is what came out of it. Any comment is very welcome. Rob

It took me a moment to figure out what I was looking at! :) It is an interesting image, to be sure. I do like the color, and the concept of turning it upside-down really adds to its interest.

And this is not a manip? I'm seeing the ducks and the reflection as part of the water...but I'm having lots of trouble fitting the grass in as it is...are you SURE this is not a manip? You certainly generated interest at any rate!!

Just to respond to PJ: I did not modify the original picture at all (cropping and orientation apart). I have other pictures of the same series where there is no grass on top (or should I say bottom) but I like this one more because it looks to me at first impression as if the ducks are coming out of a green funnel.

I think this reflection study made a "normal" neighborhood quite special! Clever of you to orient the viewer without putting yourself in the reflection...by the 180 rotate. Now I am SO looking forward to the flying pigs! :)

Like this a lot Rob, very original. You certainly did take an ordinary neighbourhood and do something different.
