Sun was down at this point, moon was very bright. I set my camera on night vision and put it on a shelf....it works. I guess.

As in days of old when people had to maintain a pose for quite a length of time while the photo developed, Heather is a wonderful subject. She's still and quiet and lovely to boot..great job and a new venture into people pics :)

This is an excellent portrait. The lighting gives it the look of a painting in my opinion. The only thing I don't like is the that the camera has included that bit of the shelf in the foreground.

I would clone out that bright window behind her right shoulder, as I think it is too prominent and attention-grabbing. Also, rotating a degree or so counterclockwise will straighten the verticals. Otherwise, really good shot!

very nice portrait...like an oil painting...and agree with the removal of the shelf and the bright light...

Nice portrait shot. It almost has an old world feel to it. I do agree about removing the bright light though. Good work.
