How very interesting. He looks like a fish with legs! Nicely done photo. Must have been hard to take a photo with him sitting on your sleeve.. I wonder how large//small he is..Verena

It's an Aphid!!!! They are such interesting bugs... They are pretty common on farms, and are considered pests. :)

Not to start a 'bug' argument, but I'm about 90% sure it's a
Genus Graphocephala of the Family Cicadellidae (a.k.a Leafhoppers)

This critter was about 1/2" long (10mm or so), which is a lot bigger than an aphid.
