I like the colors of this. I think I would've tilted the camera up a bit, and used the shadowy foreground just a bare minimum framing area. Focus and/or lighting seems a bit blotchy. Was this edited at all? Lastly, you must know those power lines are killing your shot.
No editing. I am surrounded by power lines. There is no clear shot of the Western sky. The shot was with a 12mp Canon and put straight onto disk. Unless the blotchy look occurred in the upload?
A sunset is always a great natural spectacle and normally it
isnŽt easy to catch it with the camera. This one is a beautiful
shot. The powerlines show that there is a road, that means
civilization. But there is one thing I agree with 'third_eye':
YouŽd better have tilted the camera up a bit.

I got a comment request as well..and I agree with ::third_eye and .mac39. That's a beautiful sky but it does seem to have blurriness which takes away from the whole beauty of it. I agree it's hard to take good photos at a low light..and think that's the reason for the blurriness here.
Guess I'm pretty much in agreement with the others as far as camera angle, etc. I can certainly see why you wanted this picture - the sky is wonderful. Sunsets are tricky! Darn those power lines! Waiting for another one from you - know it will be even better - you have the eye to notice beauty!

Happy Hunting for the next one. :o)
