This is an oil on wood. A undercoating of white is painted on a very dry piece of wood. Preference is given for finding hardwood someone has decided to dump. I Looked for a long time before I found this piece. I got lucky with this one. The hardwood shelf is 12" x 33 1/2" x 1" . I left it outside for about a week to weather. First coating was kilz paint for basements. I let it dry for about two hours and then applied a coating of black oil paint. With pallet in hand I scraped to the undercoating of kilz white. ---This painting has been sold----- Victor

Victor, you posted this one about a month ago. The only difference was then it was leaning against a barn door & it had no signature on it. Still..nice work though....Ed

You got a fantastic result with your artwork, Vic! Seems from a kind of negative dimension... A very travelling image! :-)

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
