I had to take this picture for my Visual Communication class in college demonstrating Fast Falloff. So I turned all of the lights off in my room and opened my window to let the sunlight in and this is how it (or I) came out. It has been too long since I posted, so I figured I would put this up. Not looking for high scores in the VB on this one. Just would like to hear from people again so be honest and thanks for the comments in advance. I truly do appreciate them.

Hey Ryan! I guess we've both been away for a while. Life just takes over sometimes! Good to see you again and nice to see this study of you. I like the falloff very much, just having half of your face lit makes for a striking image. Are you really that moody ;-)

Would it work to just say ditto to what EJ said on every point? As it mirrors my thoughts too. Very nice work. As well as something I would like to try in the future.

Good shot of the deep in thought side of you. Well done in b&w as well.

Very reflecting image. Now, enough of this school wish wash, get to posting!

Ryan, an excellent post, especially for a self portrait. You nailed the fall-off perfectly. May I ask...how many takes did it take? Nicely done, and glad to have you back.
