To all my Caedes friends who have been so kind in there comments on my series Trash Art. The series has given me great pleasure it's I fun to do and a surprise in every layer. It seems that a of lot people are interested in working in layers I have given it a twist with the Trash Art series but that’s the mucking around part on a serious note it has also given me the tools and skills to enhance and better my normal pictures and a better understanding of lighting colour composition and all that what makes a good picture. Its always hard to see whats goes into a image so I am posting the image I used to make Trash Art 52 its what you would call a blank canvas in the image number 52 many think its a metallized image not true its a texture shot with a heavy Gaussian blur layered onto the tiger some saturation and for the most part that's it. Blank Canvas is gift to all my friends that have started working or would like to try something in layers feel free to use it I had some ideas myself a zebra pattern feathers well if you feel the itch give it a go and would be nice to see some posted. P.S. if you are working on the negative image you wil have to clean up some noise heee can't do all the work have fun.

Wow! Thanks so much for the great gift Rob! I can't wait to give it a try. It may take a while, but I'll be sure to post it when I feel like I've got a handle on it. It sounds like you're work is an inspiration to many more than just me! It's very kind of you to share this with us my friend.

I would just like to say thanks for all the tremendous looking trash art pictures you shared with us all.You sure do a a great talent when it comes to working with layers and as to give it a try I still would not no were to start .I will have to sit and ponder what you archived and see if the penny will drop. What I have trouble understanding is how you seem to make the individual layers transparent if that is what they are?.Now for this post it is also superb but for me I love the last cat as I just like the blue you added lol.

You could have at least wrote 'Spoiler Alert' before your big confession, tell-all tale. :-D Thanks for the behind-the-scenes look of your creativity.
A nice bit of origami work in your cat sculpture Rob. So how many sheets of paper did you use?

Thank you, Rob. I was wondering what the original 'cat' looked like as you have featured it in several of your art works. Love the detail & is stunning on the solid black background. I'm not that good at layering, but I may have to give it a try. Your work is an inspiration to all ... thanks again.

Thanks Rob.
I think you will have encouraged a lot us us to give it a go with the great results you have posted and now this further gift and explanation.

I will be content to enjoy the results of others because layers just confuse and bewilder me and I just end up with separate images.
I am missing the 'layering gene' I think !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
