good job, it looks pretty nice. What did you render it with?

Bryce 5, rendered at 2560 x 2048.

The final anti-aliasing pass took at least three days alone.

I don't know much about fractals but I really like how this one looks! I like the green colors you used. I like the complex reflections...but I think the smallest reflections make it look a little busy. And the only other thing I'm not so sure about is the blue in the background...maybe black would work better with the green? But all in all...very nice job! Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing this fractal.

i actually like the blue. its almost like you are looking up a incredibly tall ancient structure (or maybe just shiny and mossy) underwater. very cool

Excellent work- absolutely love the color. The only thing I would change would be to modify the camera angle so that you can't see the end of the sting furthest in the background. Maybe it could even be cloned in so you wouldn't have to re-render. :)

wow .. 3 days is my longest render .. but you say that was just for the AA pass .. I wouldn't mind long renders if I had another machine

Maybe *caedes could code a Shared Rendering Engine .. similar to the SETI @ Home dealie .. it runs like a screen saver and allows NASA to use your CPU cycles to look for intelligent life in the universe ... so, in other words, a very worthy cause .. NOT ..I just know their using my cycles for playing Solitaire
