Another composite wide-angle picture of rocks & water on the California coast. This is three shots taken from a tripod with the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II tilt/shift lens, on a 6D body. If everything is done correctly in the field, then the overlapping shots merge almost seamlessly.

Thank you Sandi. All my pictures so far have been between San Simeon and Big Sur. This location is probably about half way between those two towns.

The highway dept. has really improved the road in many places too. And several engineering works near Big Sur are downright impressive. There's one short, but massive, new tunnel that seems way overbuilt and is covered with large slabs of cut rock that don't blend with the surroundings at all. The artificiality is kind of startling actually, but it's new and may weather into something grand.
