Uploading this image grievously, The tree
with spreading foliage, bird nests and giving
cool shadow for years,now decapitated
ruthlessly!
Today June 5th we are observing
"World environment day"?
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi Sayed, thanks for sharing this sad image with us...it reminds us that every day should be an Environment Day...if we lose respect for Nature, it will eventually be our own undoing. I just hope they had good reason for cutting this tree back so drastically....Take care...Jacquie
I recently had to trim back two apple trees in my yard that were overgrown and were interfering with the growth of other plants in my yard...one of them had actually fallen over in a violent storm and was propped up..perhaps this the fate of this tree, and sometimes when trimmed and maintained they come back even stronger..let us HOPE :)

(EDIT} AN AFTERTHOUGHT: I see that life has already sprung from the cut...you can't keep Mother Nature down :)
This is a photo which is a very good topic for a longer discussion. Let me add my share: what's really annoying for me are my neighbors who year by year cut down one the most beautiful trees in my neighborhood just because these trees grow outside and near their windows. The say that these trees do not permit the sun to shine to their rooms. And you know what? After cutting down the trees they install window blinds because they don't want people from the street peering in into their homes. What is the sense in that? :(
