Why is everybody still using black umbrellas? Here in Germany people use mostly coloured umbrellas which are just as good. It would also have given more colour to this image.

Black is most practical colour for umbrella - I know because I have used all colours including white and blue - they turn yellow soon so one has to give them away in time, for instance to one's Mom, like I did LOL
There is one light green umbrella here !

Always lots of color in your shots, Sayed. I think the people must just take the monsoons in stride since they are used to them. Lots of neat store signs to look at in here too.

I love looking into the shops in the background as well, there is always so much to look it in your shots. The shop under the bakery sign looks as though it sells anything and everything. I like that your pictures make me feel as though I have actually visited the village.

Nice photo Sayed! How long will the monsoon be? I was looking at the signs and never realized that India had alot of English. That's a surprise for me! Every time I go for some kind of computer support I talk with someone from India. Do Indians like the US? Great job and educational photo! Allen
