I really don't know what fruit this is, but whatever it is, you have managed to capture it well against the dark background.

It is a sugar apple, a tropical/sub tropical fruit. I have seen a few while growing up in the Forida Keys.

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

they're also called sweetsop, yes they are can be eaten, they're meant to taste kind of custardy but haven't tried on myself. Really good shot against the dark background it makes the shot stand out

This is a interesting shot -with the dark background - but I don't think I would want to eat it - it is sort of lumpy and kind of ugly - ha ha.......poor fruit - I am sure many people LOVE it !
