Here in my home state(Kerala,south India)
the elephants are being used for the temple
festivals celebrating annually.And the
mahouts are washing this elephant before
taking him to the festival.

I can honestly say, Sayed, that I will never in my lifetime come upon a guy washing his elephant. Around here we have car washes but no elephant washes. The Sayed version of National Geographic has the most wonderful photos of life in and around your village. There is something so ageless about your photo, but I wish you would have cropped out the power lines on the left.
What a fantastic shot!! I love the bone structure of the elephants head and face, I have never seen that so prominant before. Colours and clarity is very very good x
