This is a "rescue flower." I found the stalk lying on the ground on an island in Tampa Bay, brought it home and stuck it in a pot of soil. Looks like it appreciates its new home!

Love the picture - really nice vibrancy of color and like the different stages of flowering.

A beautiful bunch of flowers that I don't think I've seen before. They are so simple yet so lovely. I like the dark green background but feel it could do with being more out of focus so that all ones concentration is on the flowers.

They're doing just fine... I always thought of plumeria as Hawaiian, but I suppose that Florida has the prefect climate for them as well. Very nice shot, and isn't it great to see the buds...means all is well.
