Excellent macro, complete with fly ;) What a dynamite capture with clarity, wonderful color and lighting and the raindrops are terrific. Outstanding job you've done here Sandy and it's just grand on the DT. Thanks for sharing this one.

Theres certainly some great shapes there.. and the drops of water bring a lot to the image. The clarity doesn't seem as good as your last few pictures.. im not sure why though. It's great you caught this fly in his hiding spot.. i always wonder where they go at dusk.. maybe this is his home he goes back to at sunset? who knows..

Just an excellent macro shot Sandy. The color and DOF in this is just wonderfully done. I really like how this plant fills the screen with its beauty.

Can you believe how far behind I am in commenting? I saved this out though because I really did want to get to comment on it before everyone else did, but I see I'm late :( This really caught my eye as I viewed it in thumbnail and after seeing it full size, I knew I had to tell you how much I like this upload. To me the clarity is very good. I can't find any fault with that at all. As a matter of fact, that is one of the reasons this stood out..the very clarity of the leaves with the maps of veins in them and the lush color throughout. The shadows create such depths here that it's as if I could reach out and touch the cool droplets of water ...and probably scare the resident away..lol :). One other element that struck me as particularly nice is that you didn't put the center of the leaf configuration in the center of the picture..its position as seen slightly shifted down toward us and to the left makes this a much more intriguing work. The only suggestion I would make, and it's a pet peeve of mine, especially on such a fine representation as this one, is that the two separate, unhealthy looking parts of the vegetation to the right could be cleaned up and smoothed over so that they don't present a distraction to the artistic way you've given this to us...nice job :)PJ

Sandy this is such a beautiful sharp image. The depth is incredible. I realize the fly was part of the nature of the composition, but I wish he wasn't there... Everything else about this image is perfect. Love those sweet catch-lights in the water drops. anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
