Here in our neighborhood the small lake serves as the final resting place for the leaves that have fallen in preparation for Winter's onset.

A sad end for the beauty they shared with us for a short time Sandy. But they'll be back next year showing off those beautiful colors. Nice capture.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to stop by as well as comment. I am always drawn to the blanket that the leaves cover the bottom of the lake with - and YES it is far better than raking them! LOL
