You have captured the light and the details in the architecture well. Your photographs have made me want to visit Porto! lauren

People often say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves. -Salma Hayek

Lots to like in this one... that balcony is very intriguing and everyone who sees it wants to go there and look out! The art on the balcony rail is lovely and without your photograph, could easily be missed. The scene in the smaller window to the right is interesting, but too small to make out clearly. Hope you got your telephoto lens out! I don't know your physical constraints on the ground, but unless you had no choice, it looks to me like you may have included a bit too much in one picture. A photo of just the balcony or just the pair of stacked small windows would be enough...and the viewer wouldn't have to sort out the funny angles. Love the color you got out of that afternoon(?) sun; the viewer is well aware of the different textures in the scene from the color delineations.

really interesting subject. Was the choice of lighting on purpose?
