I have no idea what these flowers are. I found them growing along the side of the road on our trip up to Mt Rainier this weekend.

they really are pretty, but i dont know what they are either. I really like the perspective on this shot, it almost looks like a mini forest. its just a little to bright though, the saturation could be lowered in my opinion. ~abby

I like the photograph of these purple Flower Im not sure what type they are but they are pretty. I like the angle you have taken the photo from aswell

Those are lupines. They are a fairly common wildflower in the western states and people also grow them in gardens. Mostly they are purple like these although occasionally you will see them in white or pink. This is a very bright and attractive shot. Good work.

Thanks for the tip on the name!! I thought they might be lupines, but they seems a little short to me. The ones I see growing in neighborhood gardens are quite tall, so I wasn't sure. Thanks so much for everyone's feedback! I'm not the best photographer in terms of lighting and positioning, but I like to take photos & enjoy sharing! :-)
