This is fabulous!! The contrast between the green and red is supreme in this shot. And I love the angle... makes the stairs the center of your attention!
So think I'll go see where it leads. LOL
I was going to say there were so many leaves that you almost couldn't see the tracks until I realized it wasn't tracks, but stairs! lol Still so many leaves and so much crunching to do as we walk up those steps. Wonderful shot, Mark.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Fabulous shot! Would love to be strolling in this gorgeous scene. Great looking steps, this will make a great background. Putting into my faves. GREAT work.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Splendid capture Mark! I would like to be following those winding steps that curve towards what? Love those spidery branches and the log along the path. Plenty of crunchy leaves to add to the fun. A fantastic desktop view :^)
Hello my friend!Oh Mark... This is absolutely fantastic, the colours are so fiery and each step makes my eye go further and see what else there is to see! That would be a most lovely walk..and I hope you lingered a while and breathed in all that lovely crisp forest air...thanx for the posting..verena
