Well, the lines are straighter but to my eye it looks a bit like swapping one obvious distortion for a less obvious distortion. :) But who can afford the fancy lens' they make for architecture shots? Is it just me or does it now look like it's standing on tippytoes? LOL. All the same, the shot is a great one Mark.

You were fortunate to get this one past the mods m8t they withheld a rework of mine 4 over 24hrs until I won an appeal

Now Jans pointed it out I see the original problem !!

I have real trouble getting buildings right OB, it's not easy at all. It does make a difference here I have to admit - the building has more presence.

Yes, that is quite an improvement :) I sometimes have difficulty trying to decide which lines to make straight because it often seems that when I make one plumb another is off kilter but this looks right to me :) Nice shot btw, I missed commenting on the first. Odd roof for such an old historical place though, it doesn't seem to go with the time era in which I'm guessing it was built, heh heh!

Got this in the VB and had to comment on the great composition and detail. The advice you got was bang on and it worked very well imo. Well done indeed.
