Beautiful image, we just had our 1st snow of the season here in Ohio yesterday. This particular spot in the woods looks quiet & peaceful, as though you could hear the snow falling.

Neat capture Becky. You highlighted the snow by doing this image in black & white. I love the vertical trees in the background. They make this photo so much more interesting and much less 'lanscape like!' Your foreground shows off the snow very well. I am not looking forward to our first snowfall, but living in the Midwest, it is inevitable. Thanks for the neat post. :~)

i dunno - i think I prefer this one to the Black & White version - it seams to have more depth and character and is a lovely seasonal shot. well done.

I like this image and the row of trees. I would suggest adding contrast and sharpness for a greater depth - I think the B&W would look better if you do that. If you would be willing, I'd gladly do a rework of this.

Great photo, The trees either side of the clearing seem to almost resemble a fence, and it must be an exciting (maybe a little gloomy) day when the first snow falls. It certainly never snows where i live, so i couldn't really say = ). I like the B&W version also.
