This bridge on the former Hobart to Launceston road was designed by civil engineer and colonial architect John Lee Archer. The bridge was constructed by two convict stonemasons and a gang of convict labours under the direction of Captain Willam Turner. It was offically opened on 21 October 1863 and is still in use today.

Amazing. In Pennsylvania bridges built in 1963 are falling apart.
