Really like the colour palette contained within frame. The flower itself and then that of the background.
Composition is good good.
You ready for the kitchen sink?
Ok, then..
Caveats.
I did take a look at the larger resolution sizes available to check, and there is some ... some, that is ... softness to your focus/clarity.
Not sure if this was intentional on your part, or in other words a creative aim/objective. As the soft focus does work, given your subject.
However, if I may and being bold, and without the benefit of having been there and knowing your camera.. would suggest taking a series of shots and varying the f-stop.
In particular, stopping down ... from my eyes and what my monitor is displaying.
Or..
If a handheld shot, try a makeshift tripod (resting place for your camera, self-timer option employed) if not an actual tripod to steady your camera and rule out inadvertent camera movement or shake.
Did take note that someone had previously commented on a prior photo of yours, that some sharpening could be applied. Still think here, that it is a viable editing or post processing option for you to do so.. given the image quality. In short, would readily stand up to it.
Kind of curious if this is the same flower/bud that graces your galleries a couple of times?
If so, someone indeed does have a proverbial green thumb. Very vibrant and healthy. And the water drops are a nice touch to have captured.
(*pulls stopper out of kitchen sink*)
Thanks for sharing this one with us. It is a nice shot and pleasant to view. Given that the bud has not completely unfurled as of yet, methinks there is another photo op awaiting.
